HISTORY OF VALLEY LIGHTING

In 1963, an electrician had an idea that having an electrical supply store was a lot warmer than wiring new buildings without heat in the middle of January. From that day forward, Valley Electric Supply Company in Ansonia has always been a warm, inviting, family-style business where you can expect the best service, value, and advice.

Back in those days, Valley Electric Supply Company provided all things electrical to electricians, factories, and proud new homeowners. Light fixtures were added to a small lighting showroom to serve the needs of new homeowners. This was the beginning of one of the largest lighting showrooms in Connecticut.

Today, we fill over 35,000 square feet with the latest in LED lighting, ceiling fans, home accents, and electrical supplies. We shop throughout the world for the latest and greatest light fixtures and home decor pieces we think you’ll love, both for their quality and value. There is always something new in our showroom.
